Perkedel Jagung (Sweet Corn Fritters)
Ingredients:
2 cups of sweet corn kernels (can be from the can).
3 eggs.
1 cup of flour.
2 stems of green onion.
3 cloves of garlic
2 cloves of shallot.
1/2 Tbs spoon of salt.
1/2 teaspoon of pepper.
1 Tbs of coriander (ketumbar).
1/2 Tbs of turmeric (kunyit).
Vegetable or Canola oil (for frying the fritters)
How to make:
1. Crush/chop garlic and shallots.
2. In a medium bowl; put eggs, sweet corn kernels, salt, pepper, coriander, and turmeric. Blend them.
3. When all the ingredients are mixed, add flour and blend them.
4. Heat the frying pan that already has vegetable oil in it in a medium heat.
5. Take a tablespoon of mixture and start frying them.
6. Ready to serve.
These sweet corn fritters are good for appetizer, side dish or snack.
